Kathlyn Ponce

I am a dedicated English educator with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Philippine Normal University Visayas. I combine strong language skills with organized classroom practice to deliver engaging lessons for junior high and elementary students.

I have hands-on teaching experience as an English student intern, where I planned and prepared lesson plans, evaluated student work, and assisted cooperating teachers in daily instructional tasks. I prioritize clear communication and measurable student progress.

Beyond teaching, I contribute to literary publishing as a literary editor and head of a literary department, managing submissions, editing pieces, and overseeing social media for Torch Publications Visayas. I write poems, short stories, and flash fiction and bring creativity to both classroom and editorial work.

I am results-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in project management, organization, and problem solving. I seek roles that let me blend teaching, writing, and editing to support student learning and literary development.
