I've spent 32 years navigating two of the most unpredictable forces on the planet: five-year-olds and evolving technology. My career has been defined by a unique duality — fostering foundational growth in the classroom while, for the last seven years, also managing the technology training and IT support that made modern learning possible at my school.

I trained 12 to 25 staff members three to four times a year on platforms like Google Workspace, ClassLink, ViewSonic ViewBoard, while managing a fleet of 120 school devices and troubleshooting issues in real time for staff and leadership. Whatever the platform, my goal was the same: make technology feel like a bridge, not a barrier.

I'm a firm believer that the best tools are only as good as the people who feel empowered to use them. As a certified Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator, I brought the same structured, evidence-based approach to adult training that I brought to literacy instruction — meeting people where they are, speaking their language, and building the kind of confidence that outlasts the onboarding session. That approach came directly from the classroom, where I learned that how you deliver instruction matters just as much as what you're teaching.

I retired from the classroom this past June, and I'm now moving into EdTech, training and customer success full-time, bringing 32 years of classroom practice and hands-on IT management with me.
