I’m a backend engineer with 18 years of overall engineering experience, including 10+ building and operating production backend services. I deliver stable, maintainable, and reliable systems by designing REST APIs, background processing components, and distributed workflows using Python (Flask, FastAPI) and Go.

In my recent role, I designed and developed scalable APIs for a multi-CDN platform integrating 6+ CDN providers, and I helped ensure maintainability by following 12-factor app principles. I also built Golang-based background jobs and scheduling components using Redis Streams and Go workers (with gocron and 3-retry fault tolerance) to reliably propagate configuration across providers.

I’m hands-on with production-grade infrastructure and observability: I use Redis for API response caching and event distribution, MySQL for transactional data management, and InfluxDB for real-time analytics like bandwidth, request counts, error rates, and cache hit/miss metrics. I’ve also migrated an undocumented legacy Java application to Python as a drop-in replacement, achieving zero functional regression while improving maintainability and debugging efficiency.

I focus on engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and participating in backend system design discussions around scalability, reliability, and performance. I’ve supported 24/7 production systems through on-call rotation for 3 years, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating fixes across CDN routing and API layers, and earlier in my career I built private-cloud and automation platform capabilities.
