KANIKA VERMA

I've built full-stack travel and e-commerce applications using React.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, and responsive web design. My work includes City Diary, a group-built travel information app that delivers real-time location, weather, and place data.

For City Diary, I built the React frontend and integrated Google Places API, OpenWeather API, and the Geolocation API against a Spring Boot backend. I collaborated through peer code reviews and worked with backend teammates to align client-side data needs with MySQL and MongoDB storage.

I've also built a Myntra-inspired e-commerce UI using React.js, Redux, Vite, and JSON Server, implementing product browsing, filtering, and cart workflows. In a separate e-commerce project, I created product listings, cart functionality, and checkout UI with HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript.

I'm a Computer Science graduate with foundations in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, DBMS, and object-oriented programming. I've also published research on how GPS technology and mobile applications affect tourism, and I'm eager to contribute to and learn from an experienced engineering team.
