Kamil Mehman

I’m a JavaSoftwareDeveloper with 6+ years of experience building backend systems in banking and government domains. I focus on designing reliable backend services and delivering core features with a strong grasp of data, security, and performance at scale.

In my current role at IKTEXLLC, I’ve built backend services for a high-throughput government platform processing 20M+ daily records using SpringBoot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and jOOQ. I take ownership end-to-end—building the domain model, database schema, authentication/authorization layer, and business validation logic from scratch, while actively contributing to backend architecture and design decisions.

Previously, I developed Digital Lending capabilities at ABB using CamundaBPM, SpringBoot, and OracleDB, including a Kafka-driven pre-approval lead generation pipeline and a rewrite of PhysicalLending from legacy IBM BPM to Java/SpringBoot now used across ABB branches. Earlier, I helped launch the AVIS-2 national-scale back office system for the Ministry of Economy, building microservices with Spring ecosystem components and Zeebe, and I’ve led code review sessions and mentored junior developers on coding standards and architectural consistency.
