What I'm looking for

I seek a role using GIS and science communication to support conservation or climate solutions, in a collaborative, impact-focused organisation that values research-to-action and professional growth.

I am an environmental geography student and practitioner passionate about applying GIS, remote sensing and science communication to address climate and biodiversity crises. I have developed practical GIS expertise through coursework and a dissertation with the Leverhulme Wildfires Centre, producing spatiotemporal wildfire analyses and cartographic outputs that inform real-world decisions.

I combine field and classroom experience with strong people skills: tutoring students aged 7–19, mentoring first-year undergraduates, working in high-volume catering and front-of-house roles, and writing accessible science articles for public audiences. I am organised, adaptable, tech-literate and committed to translating research into actionable conservation and policy outcomes.
