Kainoa Woessner
@kainoawoessner
Computer engineer focused on full‑stack development, machine learning, and embedded sensor systems.
What I'm looking for
I am a computer engineer with strong academic performance (BS and MS coursework at UC San Diego) and hands‑on experience building full‑stack applications, machine learning models, and embedded sensor software. I combine rigorous engineering fundamentals with practical project delivery.
At Allez Health I automated large‑scale CGM data processing, optimized software to reduce runtimes by up to 50x, and developed ML models to estimate lactic acid from raw sensor data while supporting electrochemical testing. As Technical Lead for UCSD Project in a Box, I managed task distribution and authored reproducible documentation for a physical Arduino project.
I deliver production‑oriented projects such as AztecPlanner, a React + FastAPI planner with vector search; Cartoon Converter, a React/Flask/OpenCV image pipeline; and a local‑first Dev Journal with CI/CD and Agile practices. I seek roles where I can apply full‑stack, ML, and embedded expertise to build impactful products.
