Justin Bruce

I’m a Senior Full-Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable web and mobile applications. I focus on clean, maintainable code while continuously improving application performance and user experience.

In my recent role, I designed and developed enterprise-level web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python. I built reusable React components, developed secure server-side REST APIs with Node.js (Express.js) and Python (FastAPI), and implemented JWT authentication with role-based authorization. I also integrated third-party services like Stripe, Firebase, Google Maps, and AWS, while building responsive UIs across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Collaboration is central to how I work. I teamed up with UI/UX designers to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces, and I participated in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. I also conducted code reviews and mentored junior developers to raise quality and consistency across projects.

I’ve complemented application development with CI/CD and cloud deployment using AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Docker, and automated deployment pipelines. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Information & Communications Technology (ICT) from Singapore Institute of Technology, and I bring that engineering foundation to every API, database design, and deployment I ship.
