Junseok Park

I am a maritime law and marine insurance professional with more than 30 years of experience in marine insurance, P&I claims, cargo claims, charterparty disputes, and maritime arbitration. I graduated from Korea Maritime University with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, majoring in Maritime Law, including marine cargo claims, charterparty disputes, and Bills of Lading under English common law.

Throughout my career, I have worked with leading Korean shipping companies, including Samsun Logix Corporation and Korea Line Corporation, handling marine insurance-related claims and legal matters. I have managed marine hulls and marine cargo insurance and advised on contractual disputes, including insurance indemnification claims and other international commercial claim matters, coordinating actions across multiple jurisdictions.

I have provided marine insurance broking and claims consultancy through INSKOR Insurance Brokers Ltd., where I placed and obtained rate quotations for marine P&I and Hull & Machinery insurance/reinsurance and negotiated with Lloyd’s syndicates for competitive terms. I am particularly interested in P&I claims, FD&D matters, charterparty disputes, maritime arbitration, and commercial claims management, bringing strong analytical and negotiation skills to complex claims and dispute resolution.
