Juliano nascimento

I’m a Senior Software Engineer focused on backend and data-heavy systems. I lead the design of risk and pricing applications at an asset management firm, owning the architecture from proposal to production with a close eye on reliability, performance, and cost.

I build services and data pipelines, write production code, and review pull requests. On the risk and pricing team, I help ingest and transform large volumes of market and portfolio data to support daily calculations, and I deliver internal workflow tools, integrations, and applications that help the team move quickly.

Before that, I worked as a consultant building full-stack features for a U.S. healthcare company. I owned end-to-end delivery for customer-facing work—shaping briefs with marketing and design, breaking down and estimating tasks, integrating with analytics and content systems, and coordinating dependencies across adjacent teams.

I also helped scale Brazil’s largest soccer ticketing platform, focusing primarily on scalable backend development while contributing to front-end features. I prefer simple designs, clear API boundaries, and systems that are easy to operate and change—an approach I bring alongside my strong cloud background, AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate), and an MBA in Software Engineering (USP–Poli) that keeps technical decisions aligned to business goals.
