Juan Monserrat

I built EcoVisión, an educational web app that classifies urban waste from images to promote recycling in schools. Working in a three-person team, I created a dataset of around 3,000 images, compared KNN, MLP, CNN, and YOLOv8n models, and deployed the solution on Vercel with a Hugging Face API.

For my personal project SmoothFlow AI, I developed a full-stack Python app that creates Spotify playlists with smooth mood and energy transitions. I combined Spotify API data, fuzzy matching across a 26,230-track reference catalog, K-Means clustering, KNN recommendations, and an interactive Streamlit and Plotly interface.

Alongside my AI and data science training, I support website maintenance and manage social media content for Farmacia Monserrat. I'm looking for my first professional opportunity as a Data Analyst or Junior Data Scientist.
