Juan Camilo Barón Rosero

My name is Juan Camilo Barón, and I am a Business Administrator with a Master’s degree

in Financial Management. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have

developed a strong foundation in corporate finance, financial analysis, portfolio

management, risk assessment, and financial modeling.

During my internship at TUYA, a financial institution, I supported the Credit Risk team by

preparing daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio reports, monitoring delinquency indicators,

updating financial projections, validating financial data, and contributing to regulatory and

internal reporting processes. This experience strengthened my analytical thinking, attention

to detail, and ability to transform financial information into meaningful insights that support

business decisions.

I have advanced Excel skills and practical experience working with financial reporting and

data management. I have also used SQL, SAS, AS400, and RStudio as supporting tools for

reporting and analysis at a basic level. Additionally, I am familiar with Bloomberg through

my graduate studies and continuously expand my financial knowledge through independent

learning.

Beyond my professional experience, I am deeply passionate about financial markets and

investing. Over the past three years, I have independently managed two investment portfolios

focused on U.S. equities, achieving an average annual return of approximately 43%. I have

also invested in Bitcoin and regularly use platforms such as Interactive Brokers, Hapi,

Binance, and TradingView. Although this experience is personal rather than professional, it

reflects my genuine interest in financial markets, disciplined analytical approach, and

commitment to continuous learning.

I consider myself a proactive, analytical, and adaptable professional who enjoys solving

problems through data and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. I am eager to continue

growing in finance, FP&A, financial operations, risk management, investments, data

analysis, or business operations, where I can contribute my analytical skills while continuing

to learn from experienced professionals.
