I've designed APIs, service integrations, and event-driven workflows; deployed containerized workloads and cloud infrastructure; and automated CI/CD, testing, security controls, and observability. I also troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system performance and maintainability.
Previously at INESC TEC, I developed a Vue.js, Spring Boot, and MongoDB platform to improve footwear-product traceability and support sustainable practices in Portugal's footwear industry.
My work has reduced processing failures by 90% through retry mechanisms, autoscaling, and timeout optimisation, and enabled daily synchronization of dozens of GB through idempotent file transfers. I've also supported production-scale processing of 15K uploads and 1M downloads per week.
