Joseph Taiwo

I’m a hospitality professional driven by the desire “to work in an environment which encourages me to succeed and grow professionally.” I focus on using my skills and knowledge appropriately to support guests and help a business deliver better experiences.

In my years of experience as a bartender, I “mix and serve beverages based on customer requests,” interacting with customers, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks. I also “assess[ ] bar customers' needs and preferences” to serve in a way that fits what people want.

I’ve continued in hotel roles that combine guest-facing service and front-of-house support, working as a “bartender and receptionist,” and later as a “receptionist bartender” and “hotel assistant.” Across these roles, I’m consistent about communicating well, staying attentive, and helping create a smooth, friendly environment for guests.

I build on strengths like “Listening,” “Communication,” and being a “Team player,” along with “Ability to learn more.” Through my projects, I’ve learned to communicate with customers for “maximum benefit,” create “a very good and conducive atmosphere,” and stay guided by “maximising the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people and also the company.”
