I build quantitative research systems in Python, including statistical analysis of 2,096 records across 1.2 million data points, Monte Carlo simulations, equity and drawdown analysis, and automated multi-sheet Excel reports.
As an independent quantitative researcher, I ran an 80+ hypothesis programme with null-benchmark and out-of-sample validation, trained an XGBoost GPU classifier on 1.2 million rows, and built Flask dashboards for real-time exposure and risk tracking. I also designed Axel, a custom AI assistant with agentic tool execution, a Telegram interface, multi-model fallback, and unattended overnight task runs.
My civil engineering degree from JKUAT and industrial attachments with Kenya National Highways Authority and APT Building Contractors give me practical grounding in structural, highway, traffic, and construction engineering. I’m preparing for the CFA Program to build at the intersection of engineering, data, and finance.
