Principal Data Scientist building scalable data pipelines and ML models for actionable insights.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Principal Data Scientist at Oracle, designing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines for statistical analysis and machine learning modeling. I collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to translate data needs into solutions, and I build comprehensive data strategy to enable reporting and business analytics.
Earlier, I served as a Professor of Computer Science, teaching Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms & complexity, and Discrete Mathematics. My PhD work focused on machine learning approaches for pattern recognition on HIV genetic data, where I implemented multiple ML frameworks in Python and delivered results with biological implications, and I continue to bring that research rigor into production-focused analytics.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Designed, built, and maintained large-scale data pipelines to support statistical analysis and ML modeling. Created data strategies for reporting and business analytics, generated actionable insights, and mentored junior data scientists on best practices.
