Hello — I am João Branko Oliveira Dragovic, a networks and telecommunications engineer from Madeira Island, Portugal. I combine formal engineering training with hands-on datacenter and networking experience gained during internships and technical certifications.
I completed a CTeSP in Computer Networks and Systems and am pursuing a BSc in Informatics, Networks and Telecommunications Engineering. I contributed to published research on SUMO-VLC integration and real-time vehicular communication, demonstrating my ability to work on complex, interdisciplinary projects.
My practical skills include installation and configuration of routers, switches, SFPs, fiber-optic links, and experience with Cisco and MikroTik platforms; I hold the MTCNA certification. I am comfortable programming in C, Java, JavaScript, Python, Assembly, and using Matlab for simulation and validation tasks.
I bring teamwork, leadership and mentoring experience from student representation, sea scouting, and managing an e-sports university team. I seek roles where I can apply networking, datacenter, and systems engineering skills while continuing to learn and contribute to impactful projects.
