I seek senior backend/platform roles where I can own architecture, build scalable cloud data and API systems, lead teams, and integrate AI into production pipelines.

I am a backend- and data-focused engineer with 25+ years building scalable cloud systems, APIs, real-time ingestion pipelines, and AI-integrated platforms, with deep startup experience delivering production-ready software quickly.

As founder and lead engineer at a traffic, weather and travel information platform, I designed cloud-based APIs and scalable backend infrastructure serving millions of users, integrated AI for audio traffic reports and routing, and aggregated data across 10+ states while building scraping routines where APIs were unavailable.

I have led remote teams and delivered high-scale ingestion and search systems using AWS, Kafka, Snowflake, Redis and Postgres, rescued stalled product efforts to ship mobile apps, hold multiple patents related to data and streaming, and seek roles where I can own backend architecture, data pipelines, and AI-enabled platform delivery.
