At Angoon Community Association, I coordinate land management projects supported by the Southeast Alaska Sustainability Strategy, working with federal and tribal governments, NGOs, and research institutions. This work has helped provide meaningful training and jobs to indigenous and rural youth in outdoor settings.
My research includes GIS and remote sensing for cultural heritage sites, vegetation mapping, habitat restoration, and wildlife and wilderness monitoring. I also worked as a research assistant at Oregon State University and completed internships at the Bolivian National Museum of Ethnography & Folklore and the National Archives of Spain.
