Jolann Madec

I’m a Software Engineering graduate with hands-on experience spanning production Big Data pipelines, augmented reality development, and federated learning systems. I enjoy tackling diverse technical challenges while keeping my learning pace high.

At EDF R&D Lab Chatou, I designed and shipped a production-ready Big Data indexing pipeline that indexed 1.4M Oracle documents into Elasticsearch with a 100% completion rate. I operated daily on Linux (Ubuntu) using Python, Bash, Airflow, and Docker, and I contributed to team-wide DevOps practices like CI/CD, automation, and maintainability.

In parallel, I built a C# / Unity augmented reality application as the sole developer—handling the full design-to-delivery cycle independently. That experience strengthened how I structure problems end-to-end and take ownership from idea to release.

Through my academic work, I also developed FedChain, a blockchain-integrated federated learning system featuring decentralized aggregator selection, model fairness validation, and fraud detection—plus a full web interface with real-time dashboards. I’m now looking for a software engineering role where I can combine reliable engineering practices with fast iteration and real technical impact.
