I’m a native Swahili speaker and translator with experience translating documents and written content from English to Swahili and Swahili to English. I focus on accurate translation, proofreading, and maintaining clear communication across languages.

Since 2026, I’ve volunteered as a Translator for FamilySearch, translating documents between English and Swahili, reviewing translations for accuracy and clarity, and completing translation tasks within deadlines. I bring a careful, detail-oriented approach to every assignment to ensure the message stays clear and correct.

Alongside volunteering, I provide freelance translation and proofreading services (2024–present), supporting clients with translated materials and editing to improve readability and correctness. I’m motivated by work that values quality, time management, and consistent communication across languages.
