Johnbosco Anagor

I’m a highly dedicated humanitarian operations professional with over six years of progressive experience in field data collection, operations movement, livelihood activities, and community engagement. I’ve built a strong background with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), supporting IDPs at transit centres and providing direct, culturally sensitive engagement with vulnerable Persons of Concern.

Since August 2019, I’ve worked as a Field Enumerator supporting DTM tracking across North Central and South Eastern Nigeria, including IDP profiling and key informant interviews. I conduct multi sectoral needs assessments in IDP camps and out-of-camp locations, coordinate with local partners and security teams for field access, and ensure data completeness through verifications and corrections before data entry.

Through cash and livelihood implementation, I’ve supported flood-affected populations in Anambra State under Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance. I use KOBO tools to verify identities and profile selected IDPs, help prioritize the most vulnerable PoC, coordinate transportation and logistics during distributions, and conduct post distribution monitoring—while ensuring safeguarding, confidentiality, and “Do No Harm” principles.

Highlights from my work include flood needs assessments in Anambra and Ebonyi states, improving data accuracy through mobility tracking assessments in Nasarawa and Niger states, and executing CBI/livelihood activities that supported 2060 vulnerable individuals with agricultural kits, livestock, and fuel-efficient stoves. I’m motivated by stakeholder coordination and ethical, inclusive programming—especially ensuring persons living with disability are included in data collection processes.
