At the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), I led the Healthcare Quality, Mental Health, and Maternal & Neonatal Programs at Santiago Bolívar Health Center. My work included PACAS audits, quality indicators, technical reports, annual operational plans, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
I also supervised healthcare personnel and delivered monthly education sessions for staff and community members. I coordinated humanitarian food assistance for vulnerable older adults and partnered with MIES and Fundación Jóvenes en Acción to support at-risk children and adolescents.
During my medical internship at Carlos Andrade Marín Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital, I performed patient assessments, clinical documentation, and diagnostic test interpretation under physician supervision. My rotations included internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency medicine.
At Pacific Interpreters, I provided remote oral interpretation by video conference and phone, helping people communicate in real time. I hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA).
