What I'm looking for

I've been helping people of various ages, personalities, and circumstances overcome bad habits, setbacks, and hardships and become better versions of themselves through content for the last 17+ years.

I want a job at an innovative company with an empathetic, human-centric culture that'll empower me to continue making a difference in people’s lives — in health tech or another innovative industry.

I'm a very determined, versatile, out-of-the-box-thinking writer with 17+ years of experience across the fields of sports journalism, tech (UX writing and conversation design), and education.

I’ve been published by international media outlets (MSN Sports UK, Sky Sports, FourFourTwo, Squawka, The Score, etc.) and the Amazon Alexa skills store (one certified, live skill). I’ve also earned certifications in UX, conversation design, UX writing, and marketing.

I'm very effective at using words to inform, guide, empower, motivate, entertain, and delight people across various touch points as they try to achieve their goals. Using words that are simple, clear, and infused with an engaging personality brings me immense satisfaction, especially when they achieve the desired result.

I’m also effective at helping others to use words effectively. I’ve helped scores of students from various companies, countries, and backgrounds learn and practice the fundamentals of UX writing and conversation design, including how to create user-friendly artifacts and collaborate effectively.
I have years of experience working remotely (and I really enjoy it!) and am certified in remote work by Oyster, a fully-distributed HR-tech company. I also LOVE puns and dry humour. Who doesn’t? 😜

As an instructor, I help many UX professionals and career transitioners learn and apply UX writing and conversation design best practices and techniques.

I also work on conversation design (wrote and designed UXCC's first website chatbot), content design, and instructional design projects. I sometimes write and contribute to UXCC's blog and newsletter too, which has more than 7500 subscribers.
