What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead and build healthcare information systems using DHIS2/OpenMRS and modern web stacks, delivering measurable improvements in data quality and reporting. I want a team that supports cross-functional collaboration and practical impact.

I’m a Software Engineer and Technical Solutions Manager with over 13 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing health information systems in developing countries. My focus is using technology to improve healthcare delivery, especially in resource-constrained environments.

Since 2022, I’ve served as a Team Lead and Software Engineer/Architect at Jembi. I designed and implemented DHIS2-based Monitoring & Evaluation for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, built ReactJS applications to enhance reporting and data migration capabilities, and administered system infrastructure including PostgreSQL, Nginx, and Tomcat.

Earlier at Jembi (2017–2019), I led DHIS2-based monitoring and evaluation redesigns for social and school services and coordinated the integration of OpenMRS into Mozambique’s national eHealth architecture with PEPFAR partners. I also developed JavaScript applications for custom reporting needs.

At the Ministry of Health (MISAU-MoH) (2020–2021), I developed mobile applications using React Native to collect user feedback and integrated DHIS2 Tracker for complaint tracking and reporting. I also customized DHIS2 for COVID-19 vaccination certificate issuance and monitoring, delivering statistical reports and training system users.
