Jhonatan Romero

I’m a Systems and Computer Engineer student at Universidad del Norte, currently in my ninth semester. I focus on application and web development through a full-stack approach, using TypeScript and Python as my primary programming languages.

I’ve developed and strengthened institutional web platforms for Universidad del Norte, taking projects from the academic phase through functional and operational implementation. Along the way, I built strong skills in rapid problem-solving, adaptability to change, leadership, and teamwork.

In my most recent work, I developed the user interfaces and endpoints needed for a mobile app to report incidents in real time and view past reports, using React Native. I also led front-end development and backend integration for administrative platforms by creating interfaces, endpoints, and integrating them with existing backends.

I’m energized by building reliable software that supports real users, from admin workflows to mobile reporting. I’ve also been recognized as an Honored Student and received a Generation E Scholarship, and I’m eager to keep growing where ownership, collaboration, and impact are valued.
