Supervised 40 Assistant District Attorneys on felony matters including theft, violent felonies, sex crimes and homicides. Reviewed grand jury minutes, search warrants, and Supreme Court filings, and authorized plea offers.

Prosecuted a variety of criminal cases, including homicides, domestic violence, sex crimes, narcotics-related offenses, and identity theft. Admitted to the Homicide Chart in 2014 and the Sex Crimes Unit in 2005.

Supervised 13 first- and second-year Assistant District Attorneys, reviewed misdemeanor case write-ups, and assisted in trial preparation. Participated in planning and implementation of the Criminal Court Initiative.

Interviewed and evaluated litigants in New York County Family Court to determine appropriateness for mediation. Assisted law guardians in investigating child custody matters and reviewed psychiatric records.

Conducted research for and edited drafts of an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in Oakley v. State of Wisconsin. Researched and drafted memoranda for continuing legal education seminars on domestic violence and sex crimes.

Assisted in lobbying Congressional staff on the Patient's Bill of Rights and other health care issues. Drafted legislative alerts, op-ed pieces, and articles on mental health law.

Acted as caseworker in program housing for individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Created individual service plans, maintained progress notes, and provided emergency services when needed.
