What I'm looking for

I am seeking a medical coding role where I can apply my RHIA, ICD-10 expertise, and Epic experience to improve documentation and revenue integrity in a collaborative, compliance-focused team.

I am an RHIA-certified health information management professional with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Western Governors University. I specialize in ICD-10, Epic EHR systems, and ensuring healthcare data integrity.

At Franciscan Health I performed data quality checks on 150–200 surgical cases daily and managed insurance communications for up to 300 patients per day using Epic and payer faxes. I collaborated with physicians, case managers, and insurers to resolve prior authorizations for patients discharging to skilled nursing facilities and recommended workflow improvements that increased efficiency and turnaround time.

I am looking to transition into a medical coding role where I can apply my utilization management experience, ICD-10 knowledge, and commitment to HIPAA-compliant data handling to support patient care and revenue integrity. My RHIA credential is valid through July 2027 and I bring clear communication, critical thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
