Jennifer Sorto

I’m a highly motivated, dedicated Biligual (bilingual) Registered Medical Assistant with experience providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. I’m passionate about helping patients improve through innovation solutions and a patient centered approach.

In my current role with Texas Children’s Pediatrics, I maintain and enhance facility credibility by ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across facilities, equipment, and exam rooms. I monitor and record patients’ vital signs and test results for proper documentation, assist more than 30 patients daily, and provide wound care, urine catheterization, and medication administration.

I also perform routine labs and screenings (including Strep/Flu/Covid testing, urine dipstick and culture, newborn screens, THSteps lead, and hemoglobin) and support patient flow through phone triage and education. Through my Medical Assistant Externship, I assisted pediatricians with physical examinations, administered vaccinations and medications as prescribed, and completed hearing and vision screenings.
