What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build reliable, high-throughput backend and platform services for complex infrastructure, financial, or distributed-systems products, while contributing hands-on technical leadership through architecture, automation, testing, and production reliability.

I've built Java backend services at Nexthop AI, Circle, Square, and Arista Networks for AI cluster networking, digital-asset infrastructure, high-volume payments, and cloud networking.

At Circle, I engineered services for USDC multi-chain infrastructure and Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol workflows, connecting wallets, blockchain networks, banking connectivity, transaction monitoring, and internal financial systems. At Square, I developed payment, order-processing, commerce, Cash App, Bitcoin, and Lightning Network backend capabilities where transaction correctness, availability, and observability were critical.

I'm hands-on with distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, Java, Spring, cloud infrastructure, network automation, testing, and production troubleshooting. I also provide technical direction through architecture discussions, code reviews, engineering standards, documentation, and delivery planning.
