What I'm looking for

I'm looking for QA work where I can test software or games, improve player-facing experiences, and apply my multilingual localization background to identify functional, language, UX, and gameplay issues.

I'm a QA Analyst with over five years of experience in software and mobile game testing, and a background that sits at the intersection of quality assurance and languages.

I started my career in linguistics — I hold a degree in Languages and Literature from the University of São Paulo (USP), and worked as a proofreader and translator between Portuguese, English, and French, localizing academic and editorial content. That foundation in language and cultural nuance never left me; it's what eventually pulled me toward localization and in-game QA.

I moved into gaming at Pipa Studios, a mobile game studio in São Paulo, where I spent nearly four years. I started on the player-facing side as a Customer Relationship Manager, resolving technical issues and analyzing player behavior to design missions that kept people engaged. I then moved into QA, where I executed manual testing across sanity, regression, and in-game validation, reviewed in-game text and player-facing content for bugs, language issues, and gameplay friction, and designed test cases for new features. One highlight: by rebalancing mission difficulty and rewards, I helped raise the average completion rate from 0.5% to 20% within a few weeks.

Most recently, I worked as a QA Analyst at Groupe HN in Lisbon, consulting for a major French banking client (Crédit Agricole). There I created test scenarios, ran non-regression campaigns, processed release tickets in an agile workflow, and collaborated with distributed teams across time zones.

I'm ISTQB® certified, experienced with Jira, ALM, and memoQ, and a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker fluent in English and French (with conversational Spanish). My strengths are regression testing, test case design, bug reporting, and reviewing player-facing content — especially catching the language, tone, and cultural issues that surface when game content is localized.

Right now I'm based in Warsaw, Poland, studying Game Design at Futuregames, which is deepening my understanding of how games are built and why certain bugs and UX problems happen in the first place. I'm open to QA, LQA, and localization roles — remote or based in Europe — where I can combine rigorous testing with my multilingual background.

Outside of work, I'm interested in game design, languages, and anything that combines the two.
