Designed and shipped production RESTful APIs in Node.js (TypeScript) and modeled/optimized MongoDB schemas to improve query latency and throughput. Implemented Kafka-based event pipelines and automated infrastructure using Terraform on AWS, achieving 90%+ test coverage with unit, integration, and contract tests.

Architected and deployed a scalable 3-tier application (React, Node.js, MySQL) on AWS and built CI/CD pipelines enabling 30+ deployments per week. Used Terraform (S3, CloudFront) to reduce hosting costs and improved system performance through tuning, caching, and process optimization while maintaining 99.9% uptime via monitoring and incident response.

Developed backend services with Node.js and MongoDB for high-traffic applications, including a real-time referral microservice. Optimized APIs for 10,000+ requests per minute with sub-150ms latency and implemented CI/CD using Jenkins and Docker, partnering with QA to define API contracts for reliability.
