At 1up Health, I lead a 40-person engineering organization across seven teams, connecting roadmap commitments to business outcomes through quarterly planning and OKRs. In 2026, we delivered 60 roadmap commitments so far.
I built Product Development’s program management discipline, including capacity planning rubrics, release coordination, and SDLC/PDLC practices. I also built a capacity early-warning system in Jira Product Discovery that helped teams trim scope before commitments and shift from starting five or more projects at once to finishing one or two priorities.
I’ve promoted five engineers into leadership, hired five senior/staff engineers, and retained 96% of the organization. I own 99.9% reliability for customer-facing platforms handling sensitive healthcare data, and steer teams toward fixed federal interoperability deadlines.
