Patent Agent with a Ph.D. in chemistry and JD pursuit, delivering prior-art analysis, claim interpretation, and robust invalidity opinions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Patent Agent with a Ph.D. in chemistry and am currently pursuing a JD, combining deep technical science with rigorous patent analysis. Since Aug. 2024 at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, I’ve supported patent validity and infringement assessments through prior art searches and technical claim interpretation, including assisting attorneys with invalidity contentions and claim construction briefs.
I bring over 1.5 years of intellectual property experience across preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, IP due diligence and client counseling, and Freedom to Operate analysis—applying tools like TotalPatent, Patsnap, LexisNexis, Westlaw, Relativity, ChemDraw, and Reaxys. My technical grounding spans oil and gas, polymers, medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, material chemistry, and clean energy, complemented by 7 years of research in organic/medicinal chemistry and peptidomimetics, plus hands-on cGMP/cGTP experience from MD Anderson.
