What I'm looking for

I seek roles using technical analysis and research skills, clear communication, and opportunities for cross-disciplinary problem solving and professional growth.

I am an analytical STEM professional with a B.S. in Physics from Virginia Military Institute and professional experience as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I evaluate complex technical systems, conduct deep database research, and translate scientific information into clear insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

In my current role I perform thorough patent searches, assess novelty and patentability, review applications for procedural compliance, and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. I bring strong quantitative analysis, technical documentation skills, and cross‑disciplinary problem solving to each task.

Earlier experience includes leading an artificial leather development project during a research internship, assisting with mass production testing, and completing independent astronomical research on the polarization of NGC 6913, culminating in a 16‑page report and departmental presentation.
