At Adler & Allan, I assessed watercourse health for regulatory and industry clients. I conducted water quality surveys and analysed field data against environmental legislation and industry standards.

I also authored environmental impact reports to inform remediation strategies and regulatory action, and presented findings in technical briefings with Environment Agency and Thames Water representatives.

With Orkney Islands Council Marine Services, I contributed to marine biodiversity and climate change research. I surveyed intertidal species, processed sediment samples, and supported habitat mapping and MarClim biodiversity surveys.

During my MSc in International Marine Science at Heriot-Watt University, I produced an ERDF-aligned feasibility study for a District Heating Scheme, mapped seagrass beds with Project Seagrass, and contributed to blue carbon habitat assessments.
