Assistant Forensic Psychologist using research skills to deliver evidence-based support and assessments.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Assistant Forensic Psychologist with a strong foundation in forensic psychology and mental health, built through my MSc and undergraduate training in psychology with criminology. I focus on research-informed report writing and careful psychological assessment to help people move forward.
In my current role at St Andrews Healthcare, I provide Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTRs) within a community order, working in partnership with the NHS and NPS. Under supervision, I deliver psychological interventions, complete assessments and formulations, screen referrals, support group-based work, and contribute to crisis planning and incident reporting.
Before that, I worked as a Liaison & Diversion Community Link Worker with Together for Mental Wellbeing, supporting individuals who had contact with the criminal justice system by linking them to appropriate services, writing case notes, and helping manage risk through plans and follow-up. I’m now keen to progress my passion by becoming a qualified Forensic Psychologist and making a positive difference to people’s lives.
