What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities in research, public sector, or criminal justice settings where I can apply my analytical, organisational, and communication skills while continuing to develop professionally.

At Lancashire South Cumbria Teaching Trust, I work as a Clinical Studies Officer with Early Intervention Services and Community Mental Health Teams. I discuss eligible studies and trials with patients and work with multidisciplinary teams and other agencies on care plans.

At The University of Warwick, I worked on The Solutions Trial with young people aged 10 to 17 who had been arrested or were in police custody. I obtained consent, randomised participants, administered the Wechsler Intelligence test, and contributed to recruitment that almost tripled compared with the previous year.

I also led participant interviews and presented to Patient and Public Information groups to gather feedback on patient-facing materials. I kept stakeholders and funders, including the Youth Endowment Fund, updated on recruitment and its challenges.

At University of Central Lancashire, I supported literature reviews and events, then evaluated event performance and outreach. My research training includes Good Clinical Practice, Researcher Integrity, consent, UK GDPR, NVivo, and SPSS.
