At Northside ISD, I direct a competitive colorguard program serving about 40 students each year, building a positive, high-performance culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
I've led the program to 30 top-three competitive finishes and two championship titles. I manage a $40,000 annual operating budget, consistently finishing $5,000–$10,000 under budget, while generating approximately $44,000 in annual program revenue through participation fees and booster fundraising.
I coordinate logistics for 12 competitions and major performances annually, including transportation, scheduling, equipment, and event operations. I also hire, train, and evaluate an assistant instructor, coordinate 10 parent volunteers each season, and manage uniforms, props, inventory, and instructional materials.
Previously, I taught performance skills, safety procedures, choreography, and curriculum at Performers Academy LLC. My earlier customer-facing roles in retail, food service, and hospitality strengthened my ability to serve people effectively in fast-paced environments.
