FOSS developer building game server plugins and mod tools, plus web bots and tooling.
What I'm looking for
I’m a mainly FOSS developer who builds practical software from scratch—often to learn quickly and then make it reliable. My work tends to focus on game mods and server-side tooling, where I enjoy digging into mechanics and making improvements that other players can actually use.
I’ve developed and maintained multiple projects across C# and C++ ecosystems, including IRC-based utilities, console ASCII game experiments, and modular Twitch bot functionality. I’ve also written/updated gameplay and server plugins—fixing issues, improving timing/overhauls, and adding diagnostics like CSS-Benchmark-style scraping and performance-oriented monitoring.
Outside of game development, I also bring an “audio and archival” mindset to what I build. Through Revinylize Records, I’ve been focused on physical media DIY craftsmanship and live audio preservation, which reflects how I approach software: detailed, hands-on, and built to last.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
CS2 surf replacement project written entirely in C++ to access the game server directly rather than relying on a framework translation layer. Emphasized optimization and compartmentalized code structure.
CS2 plugin that provides strafing statistics after each jump to support refining and practicing strafe technique. Focuses on detailed post-jump strafe metrics.
metamod plugin that fixes multiple CS2 surf issues, including a speed gain exploit and other movement, bot, and map-trigger problems. Includes replay bot improvements and map trigger fixes.
CS2 server plugin that addresses long map runtimes by restarting the map when the server is empty or forcing a restart after 24 hours. Created to mitigate physics issues caused by floating-point problems.

CS2 surf timer plugin project where you fixed issues and later began overhauling the plugin after the lead developer stepped away. Work included bringing it out of a state of limbo.
Cube-timing and scramble generation project to help produce random scrambles and time cube solving.
Modular Twitch bot project created to learn interfacing with websites. Implemented using JavaScript.
Game project created to better understand game engines by building a simple console game. Used ASCII gameplay to get started.
Early game mod project where logic was brainstormed for a simple modding experience. Focused on understanding mod development fundamentals.
C# project that plays a short notification chirp when an IRC private message is received. Designed to work without requiring an open client.
