What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead DevOps/platform engineering for reliable Kubernetes services—using GitOps, SRE, and DevSecOps—to scale platforms safely, improve observability and DR, and work with distributed teams who value strong documentation and operational excellence.

I’m a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer with 5+ years designing and operating large-scale Kubernetes platforms for nationwide public services serving millions of citizens. I specialize in internal developer platforms, GitOps progressive delivery, and SRE practices that keep critical systems stable and observable.

In my current roles at IremboAI and across IremboGov/IremboHub, I’ve maintained >99.5% availability through 24/7 on-call rotations, incident response, and root-cause analysis under strict reliability SLOs. I lead infrastructure modernisation at scale—migrating legacy components to GitOps-managed infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, while ensuring safe, audit-ready production change management.

I build platform capabilities that developers and operations teams actually use: custom Kubernetes operators in Go, scalable staging architectures with virtual clusters, and production-grade model serving on Kubernetes using KServe and Envoy AI Gateway. I also embed DevSecOps controls end-to-end, integrating SAST/SCAs and vulnerability scanning (SonarQube/SonarCloud, Trivy) plus WAF protection into Kubernetes ingress workflows.

Across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GKE, DigitalOcean), I focus on reliability and efficiency—driving disaster recovery planning (RTO/RPO), performance tuning, and cloud cost optimisation (including 40% reductions via autoscaling and resource allocation). I’m CKA-certified and I communicate strongly through technical documentation and asynchronous collaboration across distributed teams.
