What I'm looking for

I’m seeking graduate study that deepens the intersection of data science and social research, especially in support of social impact, evidence-based policy, and gender equality.

At the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, I developed dashboards tracking gender and social inequality indicators, with a focus on SDG 5. I also collected and cleaned national datasets, contributing to statistical analysis used in official visual reports.

For my graduation project, Gender Wealth Gap in Palestine, I designed and conducted an original survey of 290 respondents. I combined the survey data with official PCBS datasets for a mixed-methods analysis and used SPSS to test whether gender differences in wealth were statistically significant.

In my Social Media Addiction Risk Prediction project, I built classification models using self-reported behavioral data and identified TikTok and Facebook usage patterns as key predictors. The models achieved a Macro F1-score of 0.93.

My other projects include processing Last.fm streaming data with Python and Apache Spark to identify listener groups, and applying clustering techniques to fashion retail customer data. I’m interested in using data science and social research to support social impact and evidence-based policy, particularly around gender equality.
