Isha Vedantam
@ishavedantam
Senior communications professional leading CSR and healthcare messaging with strong media, content, and branding expertise.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Program Officer, Communications with experience managing communications and documentation for multi-sector CSR programs at HCLFoundation. I lead content development and review for annual reports, RFPs, event collaterals, sectoral documents, and press notes—keeping visibility, reporting, branding, and stakeholder alignment tightly connected.
Across my roles, I’ve coordinated cross-functional teams to collate, review, and publish monthly program updates across verticals. I also build practical infrastructure—like an internal communications repository—to centralize program content, reports, and communication assets for consistency and faster team access.
Before HCLFoundation, I strengthened integrated communications at HRIDAY—standardizing brand and messaging guidelines, leading social media channels, and conceptualizing campaigns such as HRIDAY’s 25-year anniversary. I also supported proposal and forum submissions, drafting key sections for non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention initiatives.
My background also includes social impact/healthcare communications support at WeberShandwick, where I created narrative-driven content (reports, campaign concepts, OpEds, social media content, and press releases) and managed media/PR outreach. Previously, as a Communications Coordinator at TheSkinCancerFoundation, I handled patient and media communications, produced press releases, delivered SEO-focused blog content, and reported insights using media monitoring tools.
