At Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, I collected and processed soil and root samples to identify plant-parasitic and free-living nematodes. I performed morphological and molecular diagnostics, including PCR-RFLP, and maintained nematode colonies for bioassays and further research.
At Universidad Católica del Cibao, I designed and established the UCATECI Agricultural Laboratory. I also served as Director at UCATECI Constanza, overseeing academic and administrative operations.
My work has also taken me into agricultural field support and sales, including technical sales roles at BASF and Grupo Duwest. At CLAC-FAIRTRADE, I consolidated technical and environmental data from 70 banana production units.
