What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role where I can support children's development and well-being in a nurturing environment.

I am a dedicated professional with a diverse background in education and mental health. My journey began with a strong academic foundation, graduating with an Associate Degree in Science and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. I have always been goal-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, which have helped me excel in various roles.

Throughout my career, I have worked in different capacities, including as a Specimen Processor at ARUP Laboratories, where I honed my attention to detail and data management skills. My experience as a Mental Health Technician at Cumberland Hall Hospital allowed me to develop my ability to connect with children and support their emotional well-being. I created engaging activities and facilitated group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional regulation and coping strategies.

As a Lead Teacher at The Youth Academy, I collaborated with my assistant to design lesson plans that prepared young children for preschool. I taught essential social skills and foundational lessons, ensuring a smooth transition for my students. I am now eager to leverage my skills and experiences in a new role that allows me to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
