At Africa International University, I participated in research on indoor and outdoor heat exposure and maternal and neonatal health in rural Kenya. I helped design study tools, collect data, and monitor Tiny Tags and Empatica Care wearables, and installed Tiny Tags in 77 households.
As a Part Time Data Transcriber at NextGenForEarth, I transcribed 35 Kiswahili interviews into English, with all deliverables receiving quality clearance. I’ve also analyzed research data using IBM SPSS and NVivo and contributed to field data collection and quality control.
