What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my long-standing IT support, network administration, web systems and technical consulting experience in a role where I can resolve user and infrastructure issues, improve systems and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

I've maintained the IT environment of a customs brokerage firm since 2011, resolving infrastructure, workstation, software, connectivity, account and user issues while monitoring network performance.

I configure and support ORIAN ERP and the ICISnet electronic customs platform, plan upgrades across servers, workstations and networks, and train employees through clear technical guidance and reports.

Through independent projects, I provide end-to-end technical support and build, maintain and troubleshoot websites and business applications. I manage domains, hosting, email, FTP, SSL, migrations, backups and restores across WordPress, Joomla and Drupal environments.

I've also supported GDPR compliance as a Data Protection Officer, developed software in Java, C++ and Ada 95, and delivered IT, e-learning and network services for universities, research teams and public organisations.
