At Central Logistics, I searched and booked loads using load boards, negotiated rates with brokers, and dispatched drivers for the company’s car-hauler trucks in the USA. I also tracked shipments and planned routes.
At Sea Way Logistics, I coordinated import and sea freight shipments, from booking containers with ocean container lines through port delivery. I prepared documents for customs brokers and kept shipment updates current for the sales department.
Earlier at Sea Way Logistics and China Logistics, I handled import/export and customs clearance operations, reviewed shipping documents, and worked through issues with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies. I also maintained customer relationships and CRM pipelines.
My logistics work has included roles at ItellaNLC and A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, including export and import customer service and external sales. I also worked as a 3 Mate aboard a cargo vessel, keeping navigational and port watches and maintaining safety equipment.
