What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to apply my research skills in psychology and contribute to child development initiatives.

I am a dedicated undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Minnesota, with a minor in Islamic Studies. My academic journey has been complemented by hands-on experience in research and support roles, particularly focusing on the impact of adverse childhood experiences on child brain development. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to analyze electronic health records, contributing to vital research aimed at developing evidence-based interventions for children affected by trauma.

In addition to my research experience, I have worked as an Autism Support Professional, where I provided one-on-one and group support to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role allowed me to implement behavior intervention plans and utilize evidence-based techniques to foster essential skills in various settings. My commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children drives my passion for psychology and research.
