I’m a Digital Asset Management professional with 25 years’ experience managing large-scale photographic and digital asset archives for national and international newspapers and magazines. I’m especially strong in metadata creation, keywording, taxonomy, and reliable asset retrieval—so teams can find and publish the right content fast.

Across my roles, I’ve built and maintained structured catalogues for collections exceeding 100,000 digital and physical assets. I use systems like Extensis Portfolio and FileMaker Pro to support consistent indexing, cataloguing, and organisation, while ensuring editorial compliance through rigorous quality control and content verification.

I’m experienced in improving content discovery by developing archive procedures, training users, and refining classification and workflow management. I’ve also operated fully remotely from 2011 onward, managing digital asset operations, metadata workflows, and cross-functional coordination independently.

Most recently, I’ve combined digital operations with content and asset management, administering operational systems, maintaining accurate records, and managing digital inventory and property imagery for OTA extranets. Before that, I managed high-volume archive and IT responsibilities, and during the pandemic I engineered and curated a specialist digital photographic archive with metadata structured for online discoverability.
